SI Media is a global company founded in Italy in 1978 by Luigi Panozzo, as a software house for Broadcasters. Today SI Media is one of the leading providers of Media Management Systems, providing its solutions to countries all around the world.

SI Media has decades of experience in the development and deployment of BMS, PLAYOUT AUTOMATION, MEDIA ASSET MANAGEMENT and NEWSROOM solutions for the traditional broadcast market as well as new media platforms and environments.

Our journey started from Europe and expanded into Russia and Africa, and recently landed in Central America and South-East Asia where additional branch offices were opened.

Dr Luigi Panozzo launches EDS s.r.l, starting a service center for accounting and billing management in northeastern Italy

1983

EDS s.r.l. becomes exclusive dealership for IBM and starts developing software for IBM

1987

Using EDS software, Informatica and Cultura completes the cataloging of 60,000 works of art for the Ministry of Art in Veneto

1992

EDS S.r.l. acquires broadcaster Radio Lettemiele, changing the company name to Servizi Informatica S.r.l. becoming a software developer for radio production

1993

The first versions of Spotline and MusicLine are released (MS-DOS), becoming the first Italian solution for advertising management and playlist creation for radio broadcasters

1995

Servizi Informatici S.r.l launches the television market with Spotline and Showline version for television broadcasters, migrating from DOS to Windows95

1997

Servizi Informatici S.r.l completes the first international installation in NY, managing 13 television channels of the national network EABC (Ethnic American Broadcasting Company)

1998

Servizi Informatici S.r.l delivers broadcast management solutions RecLine, Online and DeviceManager using VisualCircuits boards

2001

Servizi Informatici S.r.l exhibits for the first time at IBC and develops StoreLine to manage disks and tapes-archive

2005

Servizi Informatici S.r.l migratesfrom VisualBasic to .NET and participates for the first time at NAB in Las Vegas

2006

Servizi Informatici rebrands as SI Media delivering the first installation using .NET, providing MediaPlay, MediaRec, MediaList and MediaDevice to TVR in Romania

2010

At Natexpo (Moscow) SI Media is awarded “Best Technological Project of the Year”, with its MAM (MediaStore), delivered and installed at JV – Moscow

2014

SI Media opens its first branch office in Singapore and completes the first installations in APAC (Singtel and Telekom Malaysia)

2016

SI Media opens second branch in Miami, installing TCS (El Salvador) and Pat TV (Bolivia), in that region. In Africa SI Media is selected by KTN and K24 (Kenya) for its brand new NRCS, and in Malaysia by MediaPrima

2017

SI Media launches Studio Automation, integrates AI in its MAM and implements end-to-end solution for the Cloud. NRCS is deployed to Televisa (Mexico), 32 automation channels at Aruji (Japan) and a complete workflow to Ethiopian National Television

2018

SI Media implements a multiplatform and multi-database solution. One of SI Media’s largest systems is deployed at MTRK (Uzbekistan), along with MAM at EESTI Media (Estonia) and Automation at TBC (Tanzania)

2019

SI Media launches .YES! the complete end-to-end and multi-platform television management system natively HTML5 and Cloud oriented
