Summer 2017 will be remembered as one of the busiest period in SI Media recent history.
Thanks to the great effort of all SI Media team, from our installers, to the developers and the support, we were able to successfully deploy five projects in the short window of 3 months.
These installations have involved four different continents: from Central American and Caribbean, to Europe, Asia and Africa.
In Mexico SI Media has provided a full digital MAM+NRCS system to Televisa, the biggest media producer in Spanish language in the world. Our platform allows journalists from several interconnected regional sites to send their contributions via web to the main site, where our MAM take care of all the workflow management up to the transmission from the studios with SI Media playout.

In the meantime, CBC (the national broadcaster of Barbados), has chosen SI Media, together with the American systems integrator BIG, for its traffic, mam and playout system. In less than one month, our technicians have performed the installation, the integration with ENPS and the configuration and training of the operators, allowing CBC to be the first broadcaster in the Caribbean area to ever transmit in full HD, for the special occasion of Carifesta (the main Caribbean Festival of Arts, 17th-27th August).

In July, our team has been also to Japan, in order to deploy the expansion of 16 additional playout channels for Aruji, one of the most important teleport companies in Tokyo. Now the system is composed by 32 main channels fully mirrored, based on IT technologies, which receives contents from several contributors, importing and integrating the playlist from local software application. Also this second phase has been deployed together with our regional partner Ideal Systems Japan

Meanwhile, in Italy, SI Media provided also an end-to-end automation system for the thematic channel of Inter FC, another successful reference in that market (already Milan Channel, Juventus Channel and Roma Channel are among SI Media’s customers).
Besides all these projects, in this period SI Media has also completed the deployment of a full SI Media platform (MAM, NRCS, Automation and Traffic), for AACGMMA (national television of Ethiopia), together with our regional partner Onset Systems.
