2016 will be remembered as the year when SI Media brought its News Room Computer System software platform into a new dimension.
Considering the changes in the market requests and mostly the growing dimensions of SI Media’s customers around the world, we have decided to revolutionize our GUI (Graphics User Interface) and increase the features of our NRCS in order to better fit the current leading trends, raising the importance of Social Media integration and real time application, necessity of a smooth and easy to use proxy editor engine to speed up journalists work process.
This is exactly the direction that our Research&Development team has followed to make SI Media NRCS (Newsroom + Media Asset Management embedded platform) a winning solution for many bids around the world, against all major competitors.
Now Social Media are fully integrated both as input and as output of the system and SI Media provides also a specific application, MediaWire, to manage the import of multiple incoming sources, such as Reuters, APTN, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram and many more.
New RSS and Agencies can be easily added to the configuration; embedded in MediaNews, there is a specific plane to search, select and choose which wires to import inside the system. (with automatic transcoding if needed)
Moreover, in order to create an even more integrated and interconnected environment for journalists, SI Media has empowered its integration with ADOBE® with a special plug-in and has designed its new release of embedded Proxy Editor, with many additional functions such as Audio Mixing, video effects, VoiceOver.

The possibility to share contents in real time and create press reports from any place is now a major need for all the newsrooms. This is the reason why SI Media has released a new version of its app, available both for Android and IOS.
