SOFTWARE APPLICATION: SI Media new GUI
In the second half of 2015 SI Media has focused on the complete restyling of the GUI (Graphics User Interface) of all the server applications. The choice has been WPF technology in Modern Style, since thanks to this we could maximize readability and configurability, which were the two priorities to fulfil.
With the renewed GUI, now any user can customize at his own will the position and dimension of the various objects, the graphics layer and the colours, and has full capability to define the elements to be shown on the home page and those who can be hidden.
In this way each customer can optimize the usability of the software based on its specific needs, giving greater prominence to elements that perhaps are secondary for others.
From the system configuration point of view, the new GUI allow to remotely manage each server application from client workstations, making even more flexible also the architecture and management of Master Control Room, Production Control Room and Ingest Room.
In this period SI Media has given a brand new look also to the Proxy Editor engine, integrated in MediaStore Client, which has been significantly empowered in terms of reliability and speed of task execution.
